Our Spring
For centuries a clear mountain spring on Mount Olympus has flowed pure and sweet, low in dissolved solids and high in oxygen. Today it is honored as the paragon of Utah spring waters and is found in offices, homes and retail outlets throughout the Mountain West. The Mount Olympus Spring is one of the oldest of all Western commercial spring waters and is the only commercially-producing spring whose use is grandfathered into the Mount Olympus Wilderness Area, which receives federal protection. The Mount Olympus Spring flows from an ancient cleft in the quartzite strata of the Pre-Cambrian geological formation. It percolates through these ancient beds of permeable rock, naturally filtering it before it surfaces at our spring.
The Mount Olympus spring is located southeast of Salt Lake City at the 5,000 foot level of Neff's Canyon, a protected source surrounded by a federally designated wilderness area. Its quality is very uniform, and there is no chlorine, harsh chemicals or impurities to alter the pristine taste of Mount Olympus Spring Water. In fact, more than fifty years of water analyses indicate no discernible change in the quality or mineral composition of the water.
The Mount Olympus spring is capped and piped to a collection site above Mount Olympus Cove, and is brought to our bottling plant in stainless steel tankers.
