Mount Olympus Waters Sponsors Downtown Farmers Market
SALT LAKE CITY — Mount Olympus Waters is the official water of the Downtown Farmers Market, a local growers' market, featuring fresh produce from more than 80 Utah farmers. “This is the third year in a row that we have been fortunate enough to be a main sponsor of the Downtown Farmers Market,” said Larry Mullenax, executive vice president of Mount Olympus Waters. “We are a local company, so we know the importance of supporting other Utah companies, including local farmers. We encourage all of our customers to go green and buy local!” The Downtown Farmers Market located at Historic Pioneer Park (300 South and 300 West, Salt Lake City) will be held Saturdays: June 12 - October 16, 2010 from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, and Tuesdays: August 3 - October 12 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. In addition to the produce, the Downtown Farmers Market also offers a variety of fresh-baked breads and pastries, cheeses, meat and seafood, jams and honeys, house and garden plants, arranged planters. Unique food vendors also are a part of the Market, offering prepared foods and beverages. At the Saturday market, you will also find a juried art and craft market comprised of local, handmade products.
